EAT & DRINK
In Khon Kaen,there are various cusine to explore. North-eastern Thai traditional foods are rich in spices and herbs. Our most favorite dishes are Papaya Salad,Grilled fish and Larb beef (stir-fried beef mixed with roasted rice and Thai herbs). Also Khon Kaen is paradise for cafe hoppers and sweet lovers
PLAY
There are many fun activies around the city. Our favorite spot is Columbo craft village. There are plenty of artistic shops which have daily workshop and art pieces to collect. Nearby the city,there is an organic farmhouse “Mekin farm” which has organic cooking and farming workshop. Also they make very yummy omelette.
EXPLORE
30 minutes driving from the city, there are places rich in nature. Phu Pha Man is the small city we love. There are great natural scenery and interesting local activities.
Along the road trip,you can stop by Nai Chan Coffee plantation and roaster. It’s the best place for relaxation after the long day.
